Childcare is at a crisis in the Inland Region! Working Parents Need Help!
Join us for the Childcare and Work: A Crisis in the Making event, an in-person discussion hosted by the Inland Empire Labor Institute on Wednesday, December 11th from 1pm – 3pm at KVCR’s San Bernardino studio (701 South Mt. Vernon, San Bernardino, CA 92410). KVCR’s Executive Director and former CA state senator, Connie M. Leyva, will moderate a discussion that will feature a panel of working parents, unions, policy makers and childcare providers describing effective ways we can address this growing crisis in our region. Hear about innovative solutions working parents are utilizing to impact these challenges along with the latest efforts to build a childcare apprenticeship! The event is free to the public!
